    Default Grass Airfields Near Dover

I am unable to land on the grass airstrips near Dover. Haven't tried any others yet.
The aircraft bounces and pitches and noses in. It seems there may be a texture issue?

    Great Map!

ps. I am not running Zuti's mods.

Zuti's friction mod (built into the MDS) needs to be active.

    I'll give it a go.

    Thanks for the info.

Edit: Just tried it and it works like a charm!

Can the grass strips be adjusted without Zuti's mod?

    Thanks for the info.

The Zuti DSMod contains Zuti's Airfield Friction mod, which is what is needed to use nearly all the airfields on this map. Historically the majority of the airfields in this period were grass; the game doesn't model those without the use of a lot of blank plates. Those add a large overhead to the map and have been removed in favor of the much simpler Zuti AF mod. enjoy the map to the fullest, you at least need to install the Zuti Airfield Friction mod. Better case is to install the entire DFMod .... it provides much more functionality and includes the flattened airfields, so the planes don't bounce all over the ground as they try to land or take off. We know of no other way to smooth the airfields without either blank plates, which we've removed, or the Zuti mod.

    Hope this helps.

Ahh, isn't he such an Angel?
How could you possibly shoot at him?
