    Default Spitfire 944

Interesting little documentary about a pilot shown footage from his war days for the first time some 60 years later.

I don't know how many times I've watched that. I get a silly grin on my face every time. I just wish they would have made a followup of LTC Blyth watching some of the other footage, especially identifying the people and other details in the films. I think I could sit through an eight hour block of that, just watching and listening to him narrating. It seems that LTC Blyth may still be alive and well. *fingers crossed* As of October 2013, he was at the Cascade Warbirds meeting, doing a program on his experiences during the war.

I would have LOVED to be there.
