Thread: A European Division of your squadron

Default A European Division of your squadron

I wish there'd be a European Division of your squadron... I've been looking for a European-based USAAF fighter squadron for ages without any success so far, and joing a US-based squad is out of the question due to timezones... thought and am still thinking about opening such a fighter squadron, but currently I'm lacking time, knowledge and resources to put up something exciting like you guys did here with the 352nd...

    Conrads,

Thanks for stopping by and for the nice words. We'd be happy to help you in your efforts should you decide to give your idea a try.

Ahh, isn't he such an Angel?
How could you possibly shoot at him?

Thanks for the support offered, Pers.

Can't wait to see your Cross-Channel map (both editions) put into action! It's fantastic from what the screenshots tell, and I'm looking forward to some nice escort runs or strafing sorties into enemy territory

    Keep up the good work!

Ok, I did it... I've founded an European-timezone USAAF fighter squadron, the 336th Fighter Squadron. Unfortunately, right now I am the only member. Would you allow me to give visitors of your forum a hint on the way to the 336th forum?

    Thank you very much, Pers.

Dear visitors of the 352nd Virtual Fighter Group,

if you have come here to this fantastic website but as a resident in Europe cannot become a member of this nice group of people due to timezone issues, the 336th Fighter Squadron might be worth a look:

    http://336thfs.forencity.eu/

Unlike the title of this thread suggests, the 336th Fighter Squadron is not a European division of the 352nd Fighter Group, but an independent squadron flying P-47 and P-51 for the 8th AF in Europe (MTO and PTO sorties are flown whenever the selected server scenarios offer these). If you are interested in joining, are looking to team up with us for flying together multi-squadron-based or just want to say 'Hi', drop by at our forum and leave us a message.

    Best Regards
