Thanks guys, glad you are enjoying them. ;D

Dup, the rest of the guys on our team are really up on correct and historical skins and know their stuff, however you'll have to forgive me as I'm the problem child. One of these days I'll get some better skins for the photo ops.

Hi I'm the Commodore of Jagdgeschwader 3 Udet.

I love your map but one question:
Will all airfields get those great textures as runway or are their some with the il2 airfield texture.

The Jg3 was a big part of the german forces during the Bob so we want this mab really

so long have a good time

Actually guys, its a paratrooper landing target.....................

If Deacon catches you dropping bombs there, you liable to be peeling taters for the following few weeks.

Bombs....what bombs....I know Nuthing!

Make sure to CC a memo to those wacky LW guys...otherwise we may be up to our eyeballs in German tater salad! ;D

Geezzzzzz, we just built the airbase and already you want to bomb it? Bunch of Bastards............... ;)

Hi Prodigy welcome to the home of the 352nd. If you look through the posting you will see many airbases that were built in the old fashion with the ground plates. We will not be going back and rebuilding those for this map version BUT will do so for the next round which is our late war versions of this same map. We are getting to close to finishing this one and it would cause more delays so we'll roll with what we have thus far, plus the new ones.

Hi guys

I came prepared.
From the sounds of things I may need these on a regular basis.
Not just for dropping my eggs in the wrong location but for any and all screwups.
I brought more than one in case I wear it out. ;D

I love what you're doing here Booze. Hawkinge is my favourite museum and I go there a lot, so I can say that you really are doing an excellent jod here. The new textures are perfect as well. ;)

Thanks for the kind words. It's rewarding to map makers when we get something spot on especially when there is so much misleading info from research. One person says it looked this way and another shows pictures that counter what was just said. No matter where you go for research, you'll find another site that says what the first is all wrong. So as a map maker who or what do you believe? Anyone who says they know exactly what was correct or not is walking on thin ice.
We're doing the best we can and have to make decisions based upon our research and then have to believe that it is correct. But we also know that somebody in the IL2 community will refute whatever we come up with so we are in a no-win situation.
With that thought in mind, we are making the map as we see fit and when we release it, it will be open to the public to change to their hearts desire, not only via their map making skills but also as missions builders who need to add targets or whatever to make their missions more 'timely" or real.

Phillip thanks for the compliments you are very kind. And although you may see my name on most of the post please remember its "WE" here in the 352nd. ;D All my Ugly friends are involved in creating this map plus several members of the community have send us materials. Glad you are enjoying it Hawkinge was a fun build and a fun base to fly in and out of.

And Boss I'm already on it. Planning a surprise night mission to Per's house. Gonna try and catch him on his tractor. 8)
