    Default Hurricane Irma

It's due south of me, heading north. Should be fun. I've been in Florida since '65. I'm not too impressed by hurricanes, as I'm smart enough not to live in a flood plain.

The lights should be going out soon. Guess I'll have to surf the web by candlelight.

EDIT: Irma came up the center of the state. Being over land drained her power, so she wasn't very bad at all. She hit where I grew up, Polk County (30 miles east of Tampa) and we lost power for 24 hours. Try living with a disabled wife and two ADHD kids for 24 hours with no TV or video games and no air conditioning. *sob* Other than that, it was a piece of cake.
